The castle grounds abound with sculptures and whimsical characters nestled amongst the tropical flowers and foliage that is carefully tended by the Queen herself, Peggy Solomon.

Cross the drawbridge over the moat at Solomon's Castle and begin a nature walk filled with the wonders of southwest Florida.

Cross the drawbridge, over the moat,  to enter a wildlife wonder abundant with majestic oaks  softly draped in Spanish moss, palmettos with their fan shaped leaves and picturesque Horse Creek lined with cypress and willow.   

     

Beautiful Horse Creek, home to an abundance of plants and wildlife.

Huge cypress trees line the banks on Horse Creek.

Solomon's Castle Nature Trail lies deep in the heart of Florida's natural beauty and is the  habitat of many species of animals and birds.  Stroll along the unspoiled trail and you may have a glimpse of turtles, alligators and an occasional otter.  Enjoy the wonders of the region, the more you look the more you see.
